The first phase of Artscapes installations is filling the windows at the F.W. Woolworth Building, 11th St. & Broadway. Woolworth’s, formerly the grande dame of five-and-dime department stores, today hosts a rotating exhibit of contemporary art – and its windows fairly wink at passersby for a moment of time, of consideration. Fortunately for art-goers and unwitting pedestrians, the show goes on 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
