This Friday, November 16, is the next in the series of Cathedrals: Tacoma concerts with headliners Drew Grow & the Pastors’ Wives, Goldfinch, and Pollens. The idea behind “Cathedrals” is simple: Invite some breakout indie bands to play some of Tacoma’s most gorgeous spaces (in this case, Immanuel Presbyterian, a historic, stained glass-laden, Mission-style church) and see what kind of trouble and beauty they can create.
This weekend’s event is also the CD-release show for Goldfinch’s new one. Want to check out their music and download the album (for free, even)? Then head over to bandcamp: http://goldfinch.bandcamp.com/. And while you’re there, check out Drew Grow & the Pastors’ Wives (http://notfree.drewgrow.com) and Pollens (http://pollens.bandcamp.com/), too.
Tickets for a nightful of music are just 16 bucks through the Broadway Center. We think this is going to be a special night with some really great music! Cathedrals Tacoma, November 16 at 7:30 pm at Immanuel Presbyterian Church, 901 N J St. in Tacoma.
