Spaceworks Tacoma is pleased to announce Heather Joy Helbach-Olds as its new coordinator. Heather Joy will facilitate the three Spaceworks tracks: Creative Enterprise, Special Projects and Artscapes. Heather comes to Spaceworks with a wide array of skills and knowledge thanks to over 12 years of experience as an artist, small arts business owner and arts administrator in the Puget Sound region. She has worked with hundreds of artists on the business side of art, most notably as the manager and coordinator of Artist Trust’s EDGE Professional Development Program. As a small business owner, Heather understands what it takes to get a business up and running and keep it running. And as an artist, she finds inspiration from working with other artists.

I look forward to working with the Spaceworks artists and creative entrepreneurs to share their talents with the Tacoma community as well as provide them the support they need to reach their goals.
