The RAGS Guild wanted to go big this year. After all, it is the 20th Anniversary of of the RAGS Wearable Art Sale and Gallery which has raised over $1,000,000 for the YWCA throughout its history! So they applied to Spaceworks and currently have a large installation in two Woolworth windows displaying the work of over 35 artists and designers. This fantastic display raises public awareness of the event and all that it stands for.
“RAGS is a juried wearable art competition and sale that benefits the YWCA’s domestic violence prevention and intervention programs. Produced entirely by volunteers, sponsors, and underwriting donations, RAGS offers guests an opportunity to view and acquire fabulous handmade clothing, jewelry and accessories created by artisans from across the country. A portion of all sales helps the YWCA keep abused women and children safe, healthy and self-sufficient.”
The 2014 RAGS Wearable Art Sale and Gallery will run Thursday through Sunday, March 6-9, 2014.

Gala Preview
The weekend starts with a gala preview on Thursday night from 6 to 9 pm. It’s an evening of fashion and fun, where you can preview the wearable art, enjoy hors d’oeuvres and wine and shop the night away.

Sale and Gallery
The RAGS Wearable Art Sale and Gallery are open to the public. Admission is free!
When: Friday-Saturday, March 7-8: 10 AM – 6 PM
Sunday, March 9: 10 AM – 4 PM
