Third Thursday July 17, 2014, 5-9pm. Tacoma Post Office Building, 1102 A street, Tacoma
This is a one night only event! The pop-up gallery is being organized in conjunction with the two exhibits currently on display at the Tacoma Post Office Building: The hole in your heart is a portal to another dimension by Erin Dengerink and Jennifer Chushcoff’s Invoke the Muse.
Dengerink invited a group of her artist colleagues and collaborators to participate in the pop-up gallery including:
Maureen Andrade, Painter and Executive Director of the NorthBank Gallery in Vancouver WA.
Sarah Paul Ocampo, Multi Media Artists and Performer from Seattle WA.
Edward Trover, Printmaker, Painter and sculptor from Portland OR.
Jennifer Chushcoff will be on hand with free postcards, encouraging visitors to write thank you notes. It’s your opportunity to publicly thank someone in your life that’s been a muse or mentor as she posts the notes on the project’s community board. Several of her muses will be performing at the exhibit. The performers will include a poet, an actor and a belly dancer.
Edward Trover will have a printing press on site and will be creating and printing small editions during the event
