“The Foundation of Art Award Exhibition”

This exhibition features 14 talented local artists who have been nominated for this prestigious award, given annually by the Greater Tacoma Community Foundation. The 2014 award recipient is Elise Richman. This marks the seventh year of this annual award. This exhibition includes the following Spaceworks alumni: Elise Richman, Darcy Anderson, Diane Hansen, Holly Senn, and Becky Frehse!
On display October 1 – 26. Hours: Wed-Fri, 12-5PM, Sat 10AM-2PM

Hop on the ART BUS and tour some of Tacoma’s art exhibits during Third Thursday Art Walk festivities. Tickets to this include guided bus tour, pizza, games and prizes. This month’s theme will be METAL in conjunction with the start of Tacoma’s Metal-Urge Month, a city wide celebration of the metal arts (TacomaMetalUrge.com). Dress Up and be ready for some trivia! The theme is “metal”… metal bands, robots………whatever direction your imagination takes you in!
Tickets can be purchased online at http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/901444, OR arrive for the bus between 5:40-6 with cash in hand to purchase your ticket then. Tickets are $11 Regular or $22 VIP (Includes swag bag and additional raffle opportunities). Please bring exact change when possible.
