The next 100th Monkey community art party is only one night away! This sure-to-be-fabulous party features Spaceworks participant and 1120 Creative House artist Shawn Foote.
If you haven’t been to an 100th Monkey event yet, you don’t want to miss it. These one-night-only parties are free to attend and open to all ages.
The deal is this: You bring food, drink and friends, and 100th Monkey provides plates, utensils, napkins, art and entertainment (thanks to sponsorship from Tacoma Art Group).

According to the Facebook page of the 100th Monkey-Tacoma, “The 100th Monkey is a studied phenomenon in which a new behavior or idea is claimed to spread rapidly by unexplained means from one group to all related groups once a critical number of members of one group exhibit the new behavior or acknowledge the new idea. The theory behind this phenomenon originated with Lawrence Blair and Lyall Watson in the mid-to-late 1970s, who claimed that it was the observation of Japanese scientists.”
