Artists or artist groups, creative small businesses or non-profits can benefit from renting space in the heart of Tacoma downtown. Spaceworks has two studios available at the 1120 Creative House, located at 1120 Pacific Ave.
For two years, the 1120 Creative House, a project of Spaceworks Tacoma, has provided long-term affordable studio/office space to artists and creatives so they can work, share and collaborate with others in the community.
Tenants of the 1120 Creative House enjoy the following amenities:
- 24/7 secure access
- Wi-Fi
- a professional location to meet with clients
- Spaceworks promotion and marketing of the location
- Access to the communal spaces
Communal space amenities include:
- 1300 sq. ft. common space for all tenants to utilize on a calendar check-out basis for workshops, small gatherings, etc.
- shared kitchen, bathroom, shower, and art sink
- deck looking over Pacific Avenue
- gallery walls in common areas for art & design made by the tenants
- part of Tacoma’s Third Thursday Art Walk event
