This is a call for volunteers to assist with the new round of Spaceworks’ murals. Artists Nori Kimura, Lourdes Jackson, David Long and Saiyare Refaei have been selected to complete four new murals through Spaceworks’ Artscapes program. Volunteers are needed to help prepare the spaces by painting a base coat for the murals. Let us know which shifts you’re available from the times listed below. This is an opportunity to be involved in the process of creating public murals, work directly with professional artists and the Spaceworks team, and help beautify Tacoma!
What’s needed: Volunteers for painting base coat for 4 murals
Volunteer Shifts Available
(day 1): Thursday, May 31st, 1 – 2 pm or 2 – 4 pm
(day 2): Friday, June 1st, 1 – 2 pm or 2 – 4 pm
Where: Building at the corner of 11th & Market, Tacoma WA
Wear your painting clothes and your sunscreen! We’ll provide all the painting supplies and water.
