We’re pleased to announce the newest entrepreneurs graduating from the Business Planning Cohort, just one of the many programs we offer in our Incubator. Over the past 12 weeks, nine entrepreneurs and small business owners have determined the feasibility of their business ideas, researched their markets, created marketing and financial plans, and determined their launch or growth strategies. The cohort gelled beautifully and were incredibly supportive of each other. Keep your eyes peeled for these businesses in the coming months!

The following images are from the graduation event, December 11th, 2018. Opening remarks were given by Gwen Kohl (Spaceworks Incubator Coordinator), Michael Liang (Spaceworks Director), Amy McBride (Arts Administrator for the City of Tacoma’s Office of Arts & Cultural Vitality), and David Schroedel (Vice President of Policy and Entrepreneurship for the Tacoma-Pierce County Chamber). The main feature included each entrepreneur delivering a final presentation of their business, followed by questions from the audience. Then for the finale, of course, diplomas and a toast!
